Dr. Robert Sheir – “Aventura FL Hometown Optometrist”

Known as “Aventura’s hometown Optometrist”, Dr. Robert Sheir has been taking care of the vision health of patients from across the nation for over 30 years. Dr. Sheir listens to his patients of all ages and comes up with the best solutions to meet their individual needs. He receives great pleasure knowing that he can help people enjoy their lives so much more fully with better vision. In addition, he assures his patients that they understand that preventative checkups help ensure their vision health.

Dr. Sheir was associated with a multi doctor surgical practice where he specialized in advanced vision and medical eye cares as well specialty contact lenses. He has been fitting special scleral lenses on patients that have keratoconus, lasik complications, post-corneal transplants, Stevens Johnson syndrome and many more medical conditions. Every specialty lens is customized for each individual eye.

Dr. Sheir is committed to bringing his patients the highest level of total eye care. He strives to provide patients and their family members with detailed one on one attention offering the newest technology and equipment with a professional team of experienced staff committed to the well being of their patients.

Dr. Sheir is a member of the American Optometric Association, a fellow of the National Eye Research Foundation and a fellow of the American Orthokeratology Association. He has served on the boards of many civic organizations and is past president of NMB chapter of Kiwanis International.
